The installation hangs at 42%, then quits.
So the above solution doesn't work for me. All I get is a page which says I don't need a serial number to download from CC. I tried installing from the link in the above response-it asks for a serial number, which despite my account showing up and this computer as authorized is not visible anywhere on the account. I just changed to a new computer and this is the first time I've had this problem-I've installed other Adobe software on the new machine without any issues and my CC licenses are assigned to this desktop. Meenakshi, perhaps you can offer some explanation about why this problem has lingered for 18 months without an adequate solution. As someone noted, if you download without using CC, Acrobat is not seen as installed by CC, so this is not a good solution. There are a number of forum posts about this since then and there are several different suggestions for fixing it, including the above. The exact same error codes were brought up in a post from December, 2015. In searching for answers, I found out this problem has been happening to others for at least 18 months.
